Department of Otorhinolaryngology














The Department caters to the Academic needs of Undergraduate and Postgraduate curriculum in Otorhinolaryngology.

The undergraduates undergo an eight weeks clinical rotation in ENT. Equal emphasis is given on curricular and co - curricular activities such as Research.

The three year post graduate residency programme has a demanding curriculum with training in Otology, Neurotology, Rhinology and Head & Neck Surgery.

The Dept has raised “Bionic Ear Centre”, a centre of excellence for Cochlear Implantation in Armed Forces.

The Centre also runs Adhar: A Cochlear Implant support group for implantees.


Regular workshop, Seminars and Conferences are conducted by the Dept, notable of which are the popular Annual Temporal Bone and Head & Neck Cadaveric Dissection Course.
