The AFMC is conducting paramedical courses as per direction received from office of DGAFMS, DG-1D and IHQ, MOD, AG’s Branch, DGMS Army, DGMS - 3D for providing technical trade training to Paramedics of Armed Forces Medical Services. The Candidates are selected and detailed by AMC Centre and college. The Para Medical Courses BSc IN PMT & PGDMLT in AFMC PUNE are for " IN SERVICE CANDIDATES ONLY".

POSTGRADUATION COURSES FOR PARAMEDICS:

This institution has taken a step towards empowerment of PBOR by starting the "Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician" (Post B.Sc) course under Aegis of Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik of one year duration since 2007 vide Director of Medical Education and Drugs Department letter No MED-1007/CR-22/07/Edn-2 dated 11 Jun 2007 and MUHS, Nashik letter No MUHS/PB/P/DMLT/502/2007 dated 16 Aug 2007. AFMC is affiliated to train 30 candidates per year.

GRADUATION COURSES FOR PARAMEDICS : BACHELOR OF PARAMEDICAL TECHNOLOGY (BPMT) COURSES

MUHS, Nashik vide letter No MUHS/PB/483/2008 dated 02 Sep 2008 has started 19 Bachelor of Paramedical Technology Courses. Proposal for conduct of 11 Bachelor of Paramedical Technology Course at AFMC, Pune, out of 19 approved Bachelor of Paramedical Technology Course by Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik was fwd to MUHS, Nashik vide this college letter No 3410/TT/CC/BPMT/2009(i) dated 13 Jul 2009. Director of Medical Education and Drugs Dept, Mantralaya, Mumbai vide their letter No BPT-1310/Sec No 133/10/edu-1 dated 24 May 2010 and letter of even No dated 17 Jul 2010, issued Government regulation for affiliating AFMC to start Bachelor of Paramedical Technology Courses in 11 courses Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik vide their letter No MUHS/PB/ BPMT/502/2010 dated 03 Jul 2010 and MUHS/PB/BPMT/561/2010 dated 28 Jul 2010 have granted affiliation to AFMC to start Bachelor of Paramedical Technology Courses in subjects with seats as under:-
