The department endeavors to be the nodal point for healthcare quality and consultancy in AFMS."

History : The Department of Hospital Administration was established on 01 Aug 1975. The first course i.e., Diploma in Hospital Administration (DHA) commenced in Dec 1975, while the first Masters in Hospital Administration (MHA) course was started in Dec 1981 and re-designated as MD (Hospital Administration) of 03 years duration and the first batch started in Dec 1989.
